TOUL - Focused laminar flow produces an ultra-clean and horizontal laminar air flow that is directed onto the instrument table and / or the surgical site, minimizing the presence of bacteria and without time limits. TOUL creates a laminar flow of air without the interposition of obstacles. The TOUL mobile unit sucks in the air inside the room where it is located and purifies it through a Hepa14 filter system, eliminating 99.995% of bacteria and microorganisms, including Coronavirus.
The air filtered through traditional ventilation systems is pushed into the operating room by the vents in the ceiling, towards the floor. The preparation of the instruments often takes place outside the sterile area since the air vents are not sufficient to cover the entire table. The surgical instruments have already lost sterility a few minutes after opening and before use.
At 60 minutes, there is already a very high bacterial load on the instruments. The colony forming units (CFU) grow with the exposure time, with the increase in the number of people present in the operating room and with the number of doors open.
It can be installed in a few minutes and only needs a common socket for operation.
