Record waveform data, digital event and marker information and can simultaneously generate
real-time waveform and digital outputs for multi-tasking experimental control.
The Micro 1401-3 is a low-cost, versatile data acquisition unit compatible with both Spike2 and Signal software suites. The on-board processor with high-speed memory is optimized for real-time processing, free from the constraints of the host computer operating system. Fast and accurate sampling coupled with simultaneous output offers extensive on-line experimental control.
Fast Data Acquisition And Analysis
The Micro3 records waveform data and digital event and marker information, and can simultaneously generate waveform and digital outputs in real-time for multitasking experimental control. It features high-speed waveform capture at rates up to 500 kHz with 16-bit resolution. The 32-bit RISC processor allows complex on-line analysis while freeing time for the host computer to perform other tasks, such as data manipulation and further analysis.
Waveform Input Channels
There are 4 waveform input channels on an unexpanded Micro1401-3 and one Trigger. The normal working input range of these channels is ±5 Volts or ±10 Volts, software selectable. Additional input channels may be added with the accessory expansion units
Waveform Output Channels
There are 2 waveform output channels on the Micro1401-3 available through BNC connectors on the front panel, labelled DAC Outputs (Digital to Analogue Converters). The DAC waveform outputs produce voltages in the range ±5 Volts, in steps of approximately 150 µV, or 300 µV on the ±10V range.
