VBMax™ 28 mm Pulmonary Function Test filters are designed to fit the nSpire Raptor Series (Owl, Hawk, Eagle), the HDpft™ series, Collins DS/GS PFT systems, and the SDI Astra spirometers (Astra 100/200/300, Astra Touch, and Astra BT). VBMax PFT filters feature superior filtration efficiency and exceed ATS/ERS standards for spirometry. VBMax™ 28 mm filters are available in three varieties: E-Series with an oval mouthpiece and S-Series with an oval mouthpiece and a built-in bite grip. S-Series with a smaller mouthpiece and bite grip to help accommodate pediatric use as well as patients with smaller oral aperature. Standard with a straight port and a paper mouthpiece. The 28 mm VBMax™ PFT filters are packaged individually and come in cases of 100 filters. VBMax 28 mm PFT filter replaces the following nSpire Koko Moe and SDI AstraGuard PFT filters. At the same time, VBMax™ easily surpasses published ATS recommendations for flow resistance in pulmonary function instrumentation, which suggest resistance should be below 1.5 cm H2O/L/sec at flow rates of 14 L/sec.
