Absorbest DryMax Border is a sterile, conformable and superabsorbent dressing with fixation for exuding wounds. DryMax Border’s soft and conformable materials ensure close contact and are gentle on the skin. DryMax Border has a silicone wound contact layer. The atraumatic silicone layer enables the dressing to be removed gently from the skin. It is suitable for use on most parts of the body where exuding wounds can develop. It has a protective liner that is easy to remove on application. When applying the dressing, this must be done carefully and it must be smoothed onto the skin to avoid creases and channels forming. DryMax Border is placed and fixed directly onto the skin and the exuding wound. The dressing can be lifted and repositioned during application. During use, the dressing, which has a breathable, water-resistant backing, feels dry and remains comfortable. This sterile dressing can be used on exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, abrasions or acute exuding wounds. The conformable material used in DryMax Border ensures close contact with the skin. The atraumatic silicone layer enables the dressing to be removed gently.
