Why do we need the AED Analyzer?
Regular testing of automated external defibrillator (AED) is critical in order to ensure safe and effective operation. Le-Cor’s AED-Q analyzer accurately verifies the output parameters of different brands AEDs.
Introduction
The AED-Q is a precision, compact, and battery operated instrument for testing AEDs. The AED-Q can simulate various cardiac waveforms including normal and abnormal ECG signals to test the ability of the defibrillator to analyze ECG signals, and display the defibrillator primary discharge energy and discharge voltage values via the LED digital tube, thereby ensuring that the AED complies with specified requirements. The AED-Q has a built-in load resistance of 50 ohms to simulate the human body impedance. Defibrillator energy is measured in 0-200 Joules range.
