At the core of the AcouPlasma concept is our proprietary process where acoustic forces are combined with microfluidics to move particles in a flow stream.
The AcouPlasma concept can be used to gain optical access to blood plasma (AcouPlasmaoptical) or to perform blood plasma separation to gain physical access to the plasma. The AcouPlasma module enables in-line analysis of blood plasma from whole blood samples, eliminating the need for centrifugation.
