“MOLgen DNA Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. S1 Kit” is an assay kit for the detection of DNA of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex by Real-Time PCR.
Introduction
“MOLgen DNA Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. S1 Kit” is intended for the detection of DNA of pathogenic to human Borrelia species of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex (B. afzelii, B. garinii, B. burgdorferi sensu stricto) using the method of real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescence detection of amplified product.
The assay kit can be used in clinical practice for testing clinical material (cerebrospinal fluid, whole blood, blood serum, plasma, leukocyte blood fraction, biopsy material, tick suspensions). The results of PCR analysis are taken into account in complex diagnostics of disease.
The extraction of DNA can be performed using the “Molgen Universal Extraction Kit”.
When using NA extraction kits of other manufacturers it is highly recommended to use Internal Control sample (IC) manufactured by Adaltis.

Set 1 is validated for use with block-type PCR cyclers: iQ5 iCycler, CFX96, iQ iCycler (Bio-Rad, USA) and DT-96 (DNA-Technology, Russia).
Set 1 contains reagents requiredfor 48 tests, including control samples.
