Description

VascuGraft® NEO Re-inforced vascular prostheses VascuGraft® NEO is a vascular prosthesis made of expanded Polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). A thin ePTFE wrap is wound around the single-layer body of the prosthesis. The prosthesis is available in two wall thicknesses, “thin wall” and “standard wall”. It is also available with a removable external spiral Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) reinforcement for sections in which the risk of compression and kinking is high (reconstructions that traverse a joint or extraanatomical reconstructions). Four stickers for patient documentation are enclosed in the packaging. Indication The VascuGraft® NEO ePTFE vascular graft is indicated in cases of arterial reconstruction, primarily in the peripheral vascular region. It can also be used in extraanatomical reconstructions – femorofemoral and axillofemoral. Standardwall VascuGraft® NEO prosthesis are also indicated for use as arteriovenous shunt prosthesis in haemodialysis.
