A significant advantage of sonography over X-rays is the harmlessness of the sound waves used. Even sensitive tissue, for example in unborn babies, is not damaged. During the ultrasound examination, organs such as the liver and gallbladder, pancreas and spleen are examined. The kidneys can be easily irradiated and viewed from the side. The stomach and intestines can also be clearly examined using ultrasound.
The sonography tables from AGA Sanitätsartikel are available with a two-part or three-part tabletop and with a fixed height. The adjustable roof position, for example, relieves the strain on the spine. With the help of ultrasound, nerves and the structure of the spine can also be clearly visualized. Sonographically guided injections into the vertebral joints or nerve roots can reduce pain and thus enable further forms of treatment such as physiotherapy.
The head position adjustment on the three-section sonography table enables better sonography of the thyroid.
Features
Since the upholstery parts can be controlled separately, a horizontal upholstery position can be adjusted from the roof position using the Trendelenburg or anti-Trendelenburg positions.
The wide extension of the base frame ensures high stability. The four adjustable feet are equipped with floor protectors (impact caps).
The tabletop segments, head/back and leg sections, are each continuously adjusted positively and negatively (+20°/-17°) by an electric motor. The controls are carried out using a foot switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - using a hand switch). Of course, these adjustments can also be made with heavier patients . The adjustment systems are equipped with key locks.
