These MRI tables are used in magnetic resonance imaging (MR or MRI for short). In order to neither influence the imaging process nor be attracted by the magnetic field of the MR system, in addition to safety when transporting patients in magnetic resonance, the material properties of the transport tables are also important.
For example, the MRI tables from AGA Sanitätsartikel are made of slightly magnetic stainless steel or aluminium and brass components. The low residual magnetism allows use on MR systems up to 7 Tesla.
The MRI patient transport tables can be used safely under the following conditions:
Static magnetic field of 7 Tesla or less,
With an additional spatial gradient of maximum 7 T/m or less,
The table must not exceed the limit line of 7 T/m with the head end/foot end in the direction of movement towards the magnet.
Features
The MRI tables are equipped with swivel castors. All four can be completely locked in rotation and running directions.
The stability and robustness is achieved by the gusset plates in the frame corners as well as the transverse and longitudinal struts between the table legs.
The tubular steel frame of the MRI tables is made of stainless steel. It has a low residual magnetism.
It can be used with a static magnetic field of a maximum of 7 Tesla or less.
The thickness of the two upholstery segments (head section and main surface) are each 64 mm.
The standard configuration includes:
A set of castors, consisting of four swivel castors, Ø 100 mm. All four castors are lockable.
