Viewer for patient and healthcare portal Through a patient portal, patients can access their medical data from a hospital's EPD. Through a patient portal it is possible to offer various functionalities to patients, such as medication overview, questionnaires, letters, e-consultation and the possibility to make appointments. The advantage of a patient portal is that the involvement of the patient increases because information is available and can be read back quietly. Via a care provider portal, a hospital can give a general practitioner or other care provider digital access to a patient's (medical) data. This includes overviews of results requested by the GP or an overview of all admitted patients of the GP. Furthermore, healthcare providers can also view the medication data and appointments for each patient. Alphatron Medical creates a secure integration between the portal and the web viewer, so that patients and/or healthcare providers can view medical image data from the PACS or VNA, which is available to them. In addition to viewing, it is also possible to make data available for download if desired, so that the data can then be used again elsewhere in the care process. It is also possible to receive data via an upload function in the portal.
