AMOUL® 5000DS is a digital inhalation analgesia unit with adjustable control parameters and a man-machine (robot) interface with TFT color-screen displays the specific control parameter settings. AMOUL® 5000DS enables a patient to accept an operation or treatment under his/her waking state without injection by setting the N2O percentage in the mixed gas (N2O/O2) and the total flow of the mixed gas and the patient’s spontaneous breathing to inhale the mixed gas which suppressing the patient’s sense of pain. It is mainly applicable for analgesia in clinical childbirth and oral cavity operations, as well as helping reducing discomfort and pain during gastroscope and enter scope examinations.
