SENSUS LUNG is a portable/trolley-mounted ultrasound device that enables rapid, automated and non-invasive investigation of lung health status with real-time results. Based on the Lung 19 App software, it allows, by means of advanced algorithms and analysis of B-Mode ultrasound images (acquired with simple longitudinal and/or transverse lung scans lasting a few seconds), the automatic identification of characteristic markers of lung pathologies, indicating their level of severity through the specific calculation of 3 quantitative parameters Pneumonia Score (indicator of the level of severity of each individual pulmonary quadrant investigated), Lung Staging (is an indicator of general assessment of the patient's pulmonary status and the overall degree of lung impairment), Covid Index (statistical probability index that a Covid-19 infection may be ongoing). These parameters are calculated fully automatically and allow an easy and immediate interpretation of the lung health status, also thanks to highly intuitive 3D reconstructions.
