The Genie® III is the new development in the product range for simple molecular diagnostics. This device was developed for on-site testing. It is smaller and lighter than the Genie® II. The housing was manufactured according to protection class IP62 and can also be used in demanding environments. This device has a two-channel fluorescence detector for measuring internal controls and multiplex assays. It also offers a position sensor as well as a GPS and offers the option of wireless data transmission via Bluetooth and WiFi. The Genie® III also has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that supports the device for an entire working day.
