Andilyte mixed oxidant generators are state of the art systems, which generate mixed oxidants from a mixture of water and proprietary electrolyte solution. The water and electrolyte are mixed automatically and passed through a flow-through cell. The high density current produced in the cell activates this mixture and generates a mixture of oxidants. The total oxidant concentration is optimized to around 400 ppm. The solution is generated at a near neutral pH. Today the entire healthcare delivery system is struggling with hospital acquired infections (HAI). HAI is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in hospitals, with nosocomial infection rates varying between 5-50% across countries. The generated solution is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly disinfectant, which can be used for almost all disinfection applications in a hospital.
