Bosphore MTBC Detection Kit v2, is a Real-Time PCR based in-vitro diagnostic medical device, IVD CE marked according to 98/79/EC Directive. Bosphore MTBC Detection Kit v2 detects MTBC DNA in human biological samples, encompassing all the complex MTBC genotypes (M. tuberculosis, M. bovis, M. bovis BCG, M. africanum, M. canetti, M. caprae, M. microti and M. pinnipedi). A region within the 16S ribosomal RNA gene is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM filter. An internal control has been integrated into the kit in order to check PCR inhibition. The amplification data of the internal control is detected with the HEX filter. The internal control is added in PCR step.
