CBI mode
The light source device can output light with the wavelengths of
440nm and 540nm, depending on a dedicated optical filter. Ac-
cording to the spectral characteristics of compound light absorp-
tion of hemoglobin, 440nm wavelength light is easilyabsorbed by
mucosal fibrous tissue, and 540nm wavelength light acts on the
submucosal blood vessels. Therefore, in the CBI mode, we can not
only identify the mucosal lésion range but also highlighted the
submucosal blood vessel distribution
The HbE function can highlight the heme in the blood, and the vascular morphology of the
pathological tissues is obviously highlighted.
