Tips – Washing hands with a hydoralcoholic gel
For successful disinfection, washing should not leave any part of the hand out and should last at least 20 seconds (30 seconds is even better).
– Step 1: Rub one palm against the other, rotating.
– Step 2: Rub the back of your right hand with the palm of your left hand, and vice versa.
– Step 3: With the fingers of both hands interlaced, move back and forth to clean the interdigital spaces.
– Step 4: Put the knuckles of both hands together and rub them back and forth, not forgetting the fingernails.
– Step 5: Clean the thumb of the left hand with the right hand, then vice versa.
– Step 6: Clean the tops of the fingers using small circular movements in the palm of the hand.
At the end of this cleansing, the hands are perfectly disinfected. Rubbing with hydro-alcoholic gel is an excellent alternative for eliminating pathogens from the hands if it is done properly. It has the advantage of requiring no water or drying.
