Othos is Astrolabe’s new concept of tibial osteotomy plates. The tibial osteotomy system 4,5 / 5,0 consists of an innovative solution of variable-angle locking plates called SmartFix. SmartFix locking system with polyaxial screws that provide a guided 30º range of motion, equivalent to a variable angle of 15° in all directions. Othos also presents exclusive features that bring a wide range of benefits to both the surgeon and their patients. The Tibial Osteotomy 4,5/5,0 is indicated for cases where osteoarthritis has affected only one side of the knee joint. The tibia is cut and realigned so that pressure is shifted from the damaged side of the knee joint to the healthier side.
