Description

Based on direct expansion technology, our high quality FD refrigerated air dryers remove moisture from compressed air with a stable dew point as low as +3°C/+37.4°F. Water- and air-cooled versions are available. The introduction of Atlas Copco’s VSD (and later VSD+) compressor technology was an industry milestone. With the FD VSD, we are extending this energy-saving principle to your quality air equipment as well. Atlas Copco’s FD Refrigerant Air Dryers remove moisture from compressed air before it enters the air network, preventing costly damage to air tools, instruments, mechanisms and piping. Up to 65% energy saving with the VSD technology Over 35% of the dryer’s lifecycle cost is taken up by the energy it consumes. To cut your energy costs,we offer FD VSD refrigerated compressed air dryers with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology. VSD leads to major energy savings, reducing the consumption of energy producing fuels and protecting the environment for future generations. Stable due point The FD/FD+ (VSD) dries air to a stable dew point (as low as +3°C / +37°F) regardless of ambient air temperature. Pure compressed air Refrigerated air dryers FD/FD+(VSD) exceed the international standards for compressed air purity ISO 8573-1:2010. Class 4 Smart AIR solutions Designed to work together with our class-leading range of air compressors and controllers, the refrigerated air dryer FD/FD+ (VSD) saves energy and protects your production. Improved energy efficiency The FD/FD+ (VSD) compressed air dryer saves energy from the first minute of operation due to a low pressure drop, high-efficiency components and an advanced control system
