Made of chitosan, a biomaterial, Maxiocel Products effectively heal wounds and ulcers like: diabetic foot ulcers, bed sores / pressure ulcers and other chronic wounds including burns. Early diagnosis and treatment are key to wound healing. MaxioCel wound care dressings have shown good results in diabetic foot ulcer treatment, pressure ulcer treatment, venous ulcer treatment, chronic wound treatment as well as bed sore treatment. When using MaxioCel ribbon dressings in deep cavity wounds, insert the ribbon in one piece and leave at least 2.5cm outside the wound for ease of removal. (Do not pack wounds tightly as MaxioCel will expand on gelling)
