The fanless e-medic™ Silence ST-I computers are compact medical PC systems that are ideally suited for long-term use in clinics and medical practices. A highlight of the e-medic™ Silence ST-I are the RS232 interface insulated up to 4 kV and RJ45 interfaces insulated up to 5 kV, which are already galvanically isolated, thus eliminating the need for additional external isolators. The midi PC is insensitive to mechanical vibrations and shocks: The processor, a 10th generation CPU, is soldered down to the board and the RAM socket and cable entries are mechanically protected. In addition, the ST-I shines with high-quality features: 3 HDMI monitor outputs, WLAN module 802.11 b/g/n/ac with 2x combi antenna for 2.4 and 5GHz, heatpipe cooling system with full aluminum heat sink profile housing as well as VESA mount and DIN / wall mount bracket. Electrical safety The e-medic™ Silence ST-I complies with the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of EN / IEC 60601-1-2. In addition, the power supply of this product has been TÜV tested for compliance with the EN / IEC 60601-1 safety standards for medical electrical equipment. The e-medic™ computer may be used within the patient environment. However, connected peripheral devices within the patient environment, such as printers or cameras, must either also comply with the requirements of IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 or be additionally equipped with two-level protection for the patient. This additional protection can be provided, for example, via isolating transformers or isolators in the connecting cable.
