Incubator Cover Nursing infants in a dark, quiet environment, to mimic that of the uterus where light and sound are muted, stimulate the growth of the infant. One of the principles of neuro-developmental care is the protection of the infant against harsh fluorescent lights of the Neonatal units 24/7light. The incubator covers assist this principle, and mimic the darkened environment of the uterus. The inside of the cover is made of dark grey fabric which assists in protecting against the light. As the Incubator Covers are slightly padded, they also act as a muffler against any sounds in the Neonatal units.
