The equipment is formed by a structure mounted on the ground with casters that facilitates its displacement and positioning depending on the concentration of particulates and pollutants present in the environment.
The basic structure is divided into 4 main stages, namely: suction system, pre-filtration, absolute filter and plasma chamber.
1) Suction system – placed at the base of the equipment, it is responsible for collecting contaminated air from the environment close to the floor, since most contaminants tend to descend because they are denser than air. The definition of this collection point is one of the differentials of the system when compared to the filtration equipment used in air conditioning systems, which usually have their collection close to the ceiling and, therefore, are not able to collect particles and pollutants more denser than air. The intake system consists of a pre-filtration system and a high-flow fan. The pre-filter is responsible for retaining larger particles that could affect the operation or contaminate the high-flow fan.
