Samples are collected according to conventional methods, plasma and whole blood samples can use blood collection tubes containing EDTA, citrate or heparin. 2.Sample handling and preservation Serum and plasma samples collected maybe stored at 2-8°C for no more than 7 days. Plasma and serum maybe stored at-20°Cfor no more than 12 months, but avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Whole blood samples collected maybe stored at 2-8°C for no more than 3 days, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
