Product Name: Myoglobin detection kit (Magnetic Solid Phase Chemiluminescent Immunoassay)
Packaging: 24 T/KIT
Intended Use:
This product is used for the in vitro quantification of myoglobin (MYO) in human serum. Myoglobin (MYO), the oxygen-carrying protein in muscle, is composed of 153 amino acid residues, contains heme, is homologous to hemoglobin, and has a binding capacity for oxygen that is intermediate to that of hemoglobin and cytochrome, helping myocytes transport oxygen to mitochondria. It is essentially a binding protein consisting of a peptide chain and a heme cofactor.
Serum myoglobin is the most sensitive early indicator for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). A positive Myo is not a definitive diagnosis of AMI, but can be used as an important indicator for the early exclusion of AMI, and if Myo is negative, myocardial infarction is largely excluded. It can be used for the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
Myoglobin (MYO) is currently measured clinically by radioimmunoassay, enzyme-linked immunoassay, colloidal gold, immunoturbidimetric assay and chemiluminescent immunodiagnostic assay.
