2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (PCR Fluorescence Probe Method) is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) RNA in upper respiratory tract specimens (nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal extracts) by real time PCR systems. It is considered as an aid in the diagnosis of the 2019-nCoV infection.
2.Kit Contents
Ref. - Type of Reagent - Presentation 24rxns
1 - PCR Reaction Buffer 1 - 1 vial, 384μL
2 - ORF1ab / N Gene Primer and Probe Mixture - 1 vial, 48μL
3 - Enzyme System 1 - 1 vial, 48μL
4 - Negative Control 1 - 1 vial, 400μL
5 - ORF1ab / N Positive Control - 1 vial, 400μL
Analytical sensitivity: 500 copies/mL;
Note: Analytical sensitivity depends on the sample volume, elution volume, nucleic acid extraction method and other factors. If you use the RNA extraction kits recommended, the analysis sensitivity is the same as it declares. However, when the sample volume is dozens or even hundreds of times greater than elution volume by some concentrating method, the sensitivity can be much higher.
3.Storage
•All reagents should be stored at -20±5°C.
•All reagents can be used till the expiration date indicated on the kit label.
•Repeated thawing and freezing (> 3x) should be avoided as this may reduce the sensitivity of the assay.
•Cool all reagents during the working steps.
•ORF1ab / N Gene Primer and Probe Mixture should be stored away from light.
