Expected use The test kit is intended for qualitative detection of group B streptococcus antigen in women 's genital tract or rect swab samples. It could directly diagnose the live or dead bacteria from vagina and cervix, and supply clinical diagnosis basis for GBS. Detection principle The test kit applies latex immunochromatography method. The antibody of GBS is precoated at the test line (T) of the nitrocellulose membrane. The biotin-BSA is precoated at the quality control line (C). The red latex particles labeled GBS antibody and blue latex particles labeled streptavidin are immobilized at the latex conjugated pad. When the positive sample was detected, the antigen of GBS from the sample bound with the red latex particles labeled GBS antibody formed an immune complex and permeated by the membrane.
