The use of an appropriate size of the protective window provides the correct viewing angle and observation of the X-ray room. The lead insert contained in the frame acts as a connector between the protective glass and the wall, thus ensuring proper radiological protection.
The aluminum construction, the materials used and the possibility of choosing the color of the frame allow for connection with any arrangements of the X-ray laboratory. Protective windows are made to measure (modular), standard with a Pb equivalent of 2.0 mm (also 2.5 mm Pb, 3.0 mm Pb).
Preparation of the hole in the wall – example
The internal dimensions are the dimensions of the finished hole in the wall.
L = length
H = height
P = final thickness of a wall (specify in the order)
How to measure
We measure the glass that needs to be mounted.
Example: glass is 1200x800 mm. The internal dimension of the hole must be 20 mm larger than the size of the glass.
L = 1220 mm
H = 820 mm
P = exact wall thickness
Additional information
The walls around the mounting hole should be finished ready. The dimensions of the frame for the above example are: 1364x964 mm.
It is important to precisely choose the position and format of the window so that the glazing ensures maximum visibility. In some cases, please specify not only the format and location of the window, but also the height: base - glass – floor, considering that the operator will work in both standing and sitting position.
