BforCure has pioneered a range of ultra-fast (RT-)qPCR kits, specifically designed for emergency use in a variety of clinical diagnostic applications. Our portfolio of CE-IVD certified qPCR kits includes:
Bfast [SARS-CoV-2] direct RT-qPCR
Bfast [FluA/FluB/SARS-CoV-2] direct RT-qPCR
Bfast [VRE Panel] direct qPCR
The Bfast™ [SARS-CoV-2] RT-PCR kit is designed to detect all variants known to date of SARS-CoV-2, provide accurate results in less than 15 minutes on the Chronos™ Dx platform and minimise false positives as much as possible.
This kit, CE-IVD marked, contains the reagents to perform 25 unit tests (lysis buffer and RT-PCR mix).
It allows for emergency or analysis in remote laboratory, as well as individual validation of suspect results detected on test plates.
The preparation protocol is carried out in 4 simple steps:
Lyse
Step 1: Cell lysis
Mix the collected sample in the lysis tube to release the genetic material.
Packaging
Step 2: the reaction mixture
Take the previous mixture and add it to the tube containing the PCR reagent.
Chip
Step 3: filling the Chronos™ chip
Inject the reaction mixture into the Chronos™ chip.
Type of reaction
RT-PCR: reverse transcription followed by polymerase chain reaction (amplification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA)
Targets of the reaction
SARS-CoV-2 E gene
SARS-CoV-2 N gene
