Cassettes for the embedding of histological samples to use with reusable metal lid. GENERAL FEATURES Cassettes manufactured using the acetalic polymer: it is stable to high temperatures, microwave operations, solvents, acids and alkalis; therefore, this material is optimal for the processing and the embedding passages in the histological process. The sample’s identification is possible thanks to the wizen surface on three cassette’s side. These surfaces are fitted to the writing with pencil. For a permanent marking, we suggest to use Histology pen (code 11-50 or 11-400). Embedding cassettes are manufactured with our best technical skills, therefore, due to the complexity of the details themselves and the type of material used, is to be considered a physiological quantity of defective cassettes equal to 5,000 PPM (Parts Per Million), corresponding to a percentage of 0.5%.
