BIOPROOF is a sterile, thin, transparent and water resistant adhesive dressing. The polyurethane film allows the skin to breathe, ensuring at the same time a high protection of the wound from water and other external agents, even in case of total immersion (shower, sea, swimming pool). BIOPROOF guarantees maximum comfort by adapting perfectly to the anatomical parts, adhering like a second skin. The rounded corners allow a comfortable application on all parts of the body and a delicate and painless removal. The central white absorbent pad is equipped with a non-stick layer that does not release residues, allowing the normal healing process. In the versions with the presence of a central opening, the dressing is also particularly suitable for ensuring the fixation of intravenous cannulas. The adhesive is hypoallergenic and non-irritating, suitable for all skin types including the most delicate. The BIOPROOF line is also available in the variants: BIOPROOF INVISIBLE – Skin-colored absorbent central pad that makes the dressing invisible. BIOPROOF WITHOUT PAD – Adheres perfectly like a second skin, ensuring high protection of the wound from external agents. The total transparency of the dressing allows monitoring of the wound even during the healing process. BIOPROOF , in all its variants, does not contain natural rubber latex.
