ISOCell BIOBOX is designed to contain culture flasks, tubes and other sterilized materials to mantain the consumables in a biocontainment environment.
ISOCell BIOBOX allows gas exchange during the growth of the cells in an incubator. Thanks to this airtight transfer system therefore, you can transfer your cell culture from the Grade A work area of the Isolator to an external standard CO2 incubator maintaining the same aseptic conditions as in the Isolator.
Thanks to these unique features and to its strictly maintained airtightness once the box has been closed, the ISOCell BIOBOX, according to GMP regulation, will secure the same internal aseptic conditions as in the Grade A work area of the Isolator, even when it is removed from the isolator, therefore protecting the cells it contains from any contamination during transfers through lower classification environments (i.e. Grade C or D Clean Rooms). Using the ISOCell BIOBOX will therefore allow the use of external standard equipment (such as standard CO2 Incubators) installed in environments where the Grade A Isolator has been placed.
Cross contamination between cells of different patients is also avoided by the use of ISOCell BIOBOX, even when they are placed, in separate ISOCell BIOBOX, inside the same external standard CO2 incubator.
