Atlas TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA) buffer is commonly used buffer for routine DNA or RNA gel electrophoresis. TAE buffer is recommended for separation of longer nucleic acid fragments (1500 bp and longer) and it is suitable for preparative gels for recovery of nucleic acids.
