DESCRIPTION
Photopolymerizable Temporary Restorer.
BIOPLIC must be applied pure in the properly prepared cavity, without the need to carry out acid etching or use dentin adhesive.
BIOPLIC is a resinous material, composed of dimethacrylate groups, organic charge, silicon dioxide, sodium fluoride and catalysts, which after activation by visible light (light curing device), hardens acquiring a rubbery consistency, used to temporarily seal cavities.
When used as a temporary restorative material, after photopolymerization it absorbs water from the saliva, it undergoes a slight expansion, performing a negative pressure on the cavity wall, guaranteeing an efficient sealing capacity. It seals the access to the cavity protecting the exposed dentinal canaliculi or the entry of the root canal, preventing the passage of fluids, bacteria and toxins.
When used to temporarily seal the screw over an implant, its action consists of forming a mechanical barrier, isolating the screw from contact with fluids in the oral cavity.
When used as an occlusal sculpture matrix, its action is plastic and modeling, due to the characteristics of the product.
It has fluorine in the composition, promoting prophylactic action against caries.
(Sodium fluoride = 0.52% fluorine ions).
