DESCRIPTION Hemostatic for topical use. HEMOSTANK is a hemostat for topical use, indicated to promote gingival retraction before taking impressions. It contains aluminum chloride in its composition which acts mainly as an astringent. It is considered safe and effective. The tissues after being removed return to their normal condition. It does not interfere with the setting of impression materials and can be used by cardiac patients due to the absence of epinephrine.
