InTray Malt Extract allows for simultaneous growth and observation of yeasts and molds. The agar used in this device is recommended for use with clinical specimens, foodstuffs, and cosmetics – as well as samples derived from the membrane filtration procedure. SPECIFICATIONS Product Principle - Combine collection, culture, result and microscopic observation in one IVD device. Highly selective prepared media in a device designed for in-vitro specimen transport and incubation. Rapid presumptive-positive diagnosis without re-plating. The medium can be incubated for 4 weeks or longer under increased humidity when necessary. The specificity of this medium may be dependent upon the incubation temperature. Storage - Extended 3 month shelf life (2-8°C) from the date of manufacture Can tolerate extended periods at controlled room temp (≤ 25˚C), with no loss in performance.
