BiOptic "Qexp-FS Meat 5-species kit" can rapidly define the species of the meat by Q-Analyzer. The entire process takes only about 60 minutes. BiOptic "Qexp-FS Meat 5-species kit" utilizes DirectGO PCR reagent with specially designed multiple primer pairs to directly amplify the gene from the sample by multiplex PCR with Qamp mini mini-PCR Thermocycler without gene extraction step. After the species-specific gene has been amplified, the Qsep series automated capillary electrophoresis platforms can rapidly analyze the PCR product and display the result of analysis for defining the source of the meat by Q-Analyzer. The entire process takes only about 60 minutes. "Qexp-FS Meat 5-species kit" can distinguish beef, pork, chicken, sheep, or goat meat, and because of the high sensitivity of the whole platform, the meat can be successfully tested for severely damaged meat products after cooking and seasoning.
