Trolox is a water-soluble analog of tocopherol (Vitamin E) which is a very strong antioxidant, commonly used to measure antioxidant capacity. Vitamin E is present in biological samples, like plasma, and food samples as a natural component of fruit and vegetables. Use this standard with colorimetric assay kits or to compare the BQC electrochemical devices results (µC) to classical antioxidant capacity units of Vitamin E/TROLOX Antioxidant Capacity Equivalents (TEAC). When the TROLOX is order for the BRS in agri-food samples, BRS electrolyte is included to perform the calibration curve. When the TROLOX is order for the BRS in biomedical samples, PB or PBS is needed to perform the calibration curve. Additional information Size: 3 tubes of 2 mL Expiry date: 1 year
