Sample evaporator TurboVap® P+

TurboVap® P+ manifold and racks allow evaporation of up to 48 samples that have been processed using a Biotage® PRESSURE+ 48 Positive Pressure Manifold. The TurboVap P+ manifold and racks are a brand new addition to the TurboVap family and are designed to streamline a customers workflow following sample processing on a PRESSURE+ 48 unit. Samples are processed as normal on the PRESSURE+ 48 unit but by using these unique collection racks can be transferred immediately into the TurboVap P+ for evaporation. Benefits The new TurboVap® is designed around a common chassis with interchangeable accessories, allowing users to switch quickly between configurations for a wide range of sample sizes and applications. Workflow Enhancements The TurboVap® P+ allows an optimized workflow for samples processed on Biotage® PRESSURE+ 48 by negating movement of vials between racks. The new collection racks on PRESSURE+ 48 can be placed directly into the TurboVap P+ for evaporation of up to 48 samples. TurboVap P+ Rack (48 Positions, 16 x 100 mm Tubes) TurboVap P+ Multi Rack (48 Positions, 12-13 mm Tubes) Gas Flow Gradients Flow gradients within a method means that gas flow can be gradually increased as the evaporation cycle progresses. The low flow rate early in the process promotes gradual evaporation. As the sample evaporates and more space is available in the tube/vial, the gas flow can be increased to further speed evaporation. Evaporation proceeds optimally, avoiding splashing and eliminating the possibility of cross contamination. Removable Nozzles Individual removable nozzles ensure that cleaning and maintenance in the instance of a blockage is easy and straightforward.
