The catheters of the MultiCath family are pre-shaped, multipolar diagnostic catheters for intracardiac application. In combination with a stimulator and recording system, they are especially suited for functional diagnostics of the cardiac conduction system. They are used for programmed electrical stimulation (PES) and the acquisition of intracardiac electrograms (IEGM). The catheters provide placement accuracy, stiffness and flexibility.
MultiCath multipolar catheters for electrophysiological diagnostics allow fast, stable and constant positioning and good tissue contact, excellent torqueability and longitudinal stability. Their design characteristics ensure the optimum long-term stability of the catheter at body temperature, while the platinum/iridium electrodes deliver superior sensing capabilities and thus an outstanding signal quality.
Product Highlights
Measurement
MultiCaths are available in various curve sizes
Flexibility
MultiCaths are available in various shaft sizes from 4F to 6F
Connection
Only two BIOTRONIK cables (MPK-4-R or MPK-10-R) are necessary to connect all MultiCath catheters
Measurement
A range of MultiCath catheter models is available, with various outer diameters, various catheter lengths and various curve shapes. Depending on the intracardiac location and the required number of intracardiac signals the appropriate MultiCath catheter can be seleceted.
