Monkeypox virus Antigen Test Kit (Immunochromatography)
10 tests / box, 20 tests /box, 50 tests / box
[Intended use]
This product is a colloidal gold immunochromatography testing product intended for the qualitative detection of the antigens from MPXV in human. This product is used for in vitro
qualitative detection of Human Monkeypox virus (MPXV)Antigen in human freshly collected or frozen serum, plasma or whole blood and rash exudates ,nasal ,Oropharynx swab sample.
[Summary]
Monkeypox is a naturally occurring epidemic disease caused by the monkey smallpox virus. Monkeypox occurs in monkeys in the rain forests of west and central Africa. It can also infect other animals and occasionally infect humans. Human Monkeypox, also known as Yaba Simian virus disease, is a smallpox-like infection caused by the Yaba monkey virus. It is one of the rare infectious diseases that occur in the tropical forests of Africa and do not spread from person to person. After 5-7 days incubation period, small nodules appeared locally and gradually expanded to 2 cm. After 3-4 weeks, the lesions could self-heal.
[Principle]
This kit is a colloidal gold immunochromatographic testing product for the qualitative determination of the Monkeypox virus(MPXV)antigen in human serum, plasma or whole blood and rash exudates, nasal ,Oropharynx swab sample. Antibody-antibody sandwich one-step assay has been used in this detection. For the test line (T line), colloidal gold conjugated antibody against the MPXV antigen is used as a detector and coated on the conjugate pad, and the paired unconjugated antibody against the MPXV antigen is used as the capture and coated on nitrocellulose membrane.
