The product “Saliva Collection Kit” is intended to collect Saliva as a specimen from patient's mouse for testing Virus (ie. Covid-19), Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma Performance The universal transport medium is composed of protein peptone, yeast extract, dextrose, K2HPO4 gelatin, gentamicin, amphotericin B and potassium phosphate. Amphotericin B and gentamicin are incorporated into the medium to inhibit the growth of competing bacteria and yeast. The medium is isotonic and non-toxic to mammalian host cells. The presence of sucrose acts as a cryoprotectant to help preserve viruses and chlamydia when specimens are frozen for prolonged storage
