Description
ESR tubes contain a 3.8% (0.129mol/l) buffered trisodium citrate solution and are supplied in a specially designed plastic tube for sterilization by gamma irradiation.
These tubes can be used to suspect an inflammatory reaction and development.
The mixing ratio is 1 part citrate to 4 parts blood.
