THE SUPER CHIEF TYPE 1 AMBULANCE IS A WORKHORSE The rugged, heavy duty Super Chief ambulance features a 170″ module. It is specifically designed to carry more equipment and handle the intense demands placed on it by high call volume departments. The roomy interior is coupled with 73.5″ of headroom to offer a large workspace and functional design. The Super Chief Type I / Type 1 ambulance is available on the Ford F650, International MV 607, and Freightliner M2 chassis; these platforms are only offered in two-wheel drive.
