The kit is mainly used for evaluating the secretory function of male epididymis, and for topical diagnosis of obstructive azoospermia. The neutral alpha-glucosidase m séminal plasma is one of évaluation indicators of epididymis secretory function, and it is more spécifie and sensitive comparing with other évaluation indicators including L-Carmtine and glyceropho- sphocholme. As the sperm maturation occurs in the epididymis, the décliné of epididymis secretory function may make adverse effect on the sperm motilitv and functions. [Storage conditions and duration] 1. Storage conditions 1) The microplate strip should be stored at the room temperature. 2) The kit should be kept out of sun and stored at the température of 2-8c C. 3) The redissolved castanospermine and substrate lyophilized powder should be stored at -20° C after being subpackaged. 2. Duration: 1) The kit should be stored at the temperature of 2-8° C, with a use life of one year. Once unsealed, the kit would be kept for 45 days at 2-8° C.
