TROKADERO® implants are based on concepts deriving from known and recognised mechanical principles in order to offer surgeons and patients a simple and optimal solution, having demonstrated its reliability with more than 35 years' clinical experience. Details: The crimped equatorial flange plays an important role in the stability of the cup. It ensures evacuation of excess cement, via the recesses, and pressurisation of the cement. The bidirectional retaining concentric grooves encourage penetration and even distribution of the cement. The peripheral interior chamfer guarantees a wide joint abduction-adduction and rotation range, and delays the cam effect of the femoral stem’s neck. The cylindro-spherical joint cavity encourages mobility and stability of the femoral head, without a retaining effect. The metal meridian and equatorial radiological markings make it possible to check the correct position of the implant radiologically and to control PE wear postoperatively.
