Personal Radiation Survey Monitors designed to measure alpha, beta, gamma and x-radiation over three selectable ranges. Compact 4EC monitor designed for general purpose easy-to-use survey. Upon detection of radiation, a red counting light flashes, and an audible beep will increase or decrease based on the intensity of the radiation levels . The Monitor 4 EC is accurate for ascertaining readings for X-rays and gamma rays above 40keV. Size: 145 x 72 x 38mm (5.7" x 2.8" x 1.5"), Weight: 178 grams (6.3 oz).The energy compensated Halogen-, quenched GM tube sidewall will detect radiation as low as 10 keV. The meter reads in Sv or R units and will provide full scale reading in activity that is 100 times that of the maximum reading.
