Description

CAPPForte bottle top dispenser is the ideal choice for handling strong and corrosive chemicals. Made of highly chemical resistant materials, such as PTFE, PFA, Borosilicate and Platinum, CAPPForte bottle top dispenser can be used for processing acids, solvents and bases on standard and sterile applications, as it is also autoclavable at 121° C / 250° F. For use with Hydrogen fluoride/ Hydrofluoric acid, CAPPForte bottle top dispenser offers a specially adjusted model, called CF10-1-HF (1-10mL), where the dispensed liquid comes into contact only with the materials of PFA, Al²O³, FEP, ETFE, PTFE, platinum-iridium and PVDF. The construction of CAPPForte bottle top dispenser is based on the positive displacement principle, where the tightly fitting piston wipes the walls of the glass-cylinder, removing the liquid completely. This kind of construction is ideal for many types of media, which are normally considered problematic to handle, such as reagents having a tendency to crystallizing, viscous liquids, foaming or vaporing liquids. Equipped with a unique wiping seal, CAPPForte bottle top dispenser eliminates swelling and freezing of its piston. The operation of CAPPForte bottle top dispenser is extremely user-friendly thanks to the slide-and-lock volume setting button. Both right and left-handed users can quickly and accurately set up the desired volume. The discharge tube is turnable, making the bottle label visible at any time. The telescope intake tube is easily adjustable, fitting reagent bottles without cutting. Three PP-adapters for the most common bottle sizes are supplied with the instrument.
