The Care & Independence Detachable Cradle has been designed to assist disabled people and their carers in their daily routines. It can be used together with the base transporter for showering and toileting, in the bath or for lowering into a swimming pool. For in-bath and swimming pool use (without the transporter) it is essential to use it in conjunction with a Ceiling Track Hoist. This will reduce the risk of injury to the carer whilst raising and lowering the user. When the detachable cradle is placed onto a Base Transporter, the system can be used to move the user from bedroom to bathroom as the need arises.
